The salary range for this position is $56,176 - $92,690. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.At Department of Housing Stability (HOST), we are committed to support Denver residents as healthy, housed and connected. We invest resources, create policy, and partner with various organizations to help keep residents in the homes that they already live in, quickly resolve an experience of homelessness, and connect residents to new housing opportunities. To support these efforts, the department helps to:Stabilize residents at risk of involuntary displacement and connect residents to housing resources.Support residents experiencing a crisis and connect them to overnight shelter, services, and short-term and permanent housingCreate and preserve existing affordable housing and connect residents at any income level to new housing opportunities.Support financial services, contracting and procurement, data analysis and strategic planning, administrative resources, and communications across the housing continuum.The

Division at HOST exists to lead the City and County of Denver’s efforts to end unsheltered homelessness by connecting our unsheltered neighbors to transitional and permanent housing outcomes. Our primary lanes of work include street outreach efforts, Non-congregate shelter and micro-community programs, and permanent housing programs targeted towards those exiting unsheltered homelessness.Additionally, as our Housing Navigation Outreach Program Administrator, you will:Supervise a team of housing navigation outreach case coordinators to provide housing navigation to people moving directly from encampments or shelter options into permanent housing.Create a daily schedule for the housing navigation outreach case coordinators that will include visits to selected encampments or facilities where they will engage directly with people experiencing homelessness and work with them to quickly move into permanent housing.Oversee the daily operations and housing navigation outreach case coordinators including scheduling, ordering of outreach supplies, and organizing trainings and professional development opportunities for staff.Develop and cultivate professional relationships with all key stakeholders, including those within the city and our community partners.Ensure that staff are aligned with program goals and documentation, including HMIS data entry, and OneHome coordinated entry.Develop daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Provide direct and primary outreach support during and through critical emergency events such as inclement weather patterns.Driving a vehicle is required as you will be transporting clients, supporting/supervising field staff, and working at multiple locations.Other duties as assigned.We value diversity of ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, sexual identity, gender, religion, language, ability, and experience and exemplify this through the makeup of our team at all levels. You'll be right at home here if you cultivate strong relationships and push yourself, your work, the people around you and Denver to the next level.Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:Aptitude for providing authentic, person-focused, and resource-oriented first-time and follow-up engagement with individuals enduring homelessness and other experiences of social marginalization.Aptitude for responsive engagement to community-level concerns from housed residents, businesses, and other neighborhood stakeholders.Well-articulated strategies for professional/personal resiliency in context of trauma, compassion-fatigue, and high stress work environments.High value on achieving service/housing outcomes in line with larger Housing and Homelessness Resolution strategies.Experience hiring, training and supervising a team in the areas of community outreach and engagement, crisis management/intervention, peer support, or other related areas.Ability to work with a high level of detail when managing scheduling, data maintenance and outcomes reporting.A flexible schedule, which could include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Training in Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) preferred.A valid driver’s license.Required Minimum Qualifications:Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, or a related field.Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of professional or technical level experience planning the administrative aspects of a program(s) or training program participants and/or volunteers. (Some positions may require experience in a specific program area.)Education & Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
