Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long-term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances.The Role:

Lead the Company’s Procurement function.Key Responsibilities:

Develop the procurement capability and capacity both centrally and regionally.Be seen as sector leading by the creation of real measurable value and efficiencies including the reduction of risk through the development of a Strategic Supply Chain.Develop a support service that is valued, respected and trusted by Operations both internally and across clients and joint ventures.Deliver the strategic objectives for the procurement function.Lead the continuous development of staff with regard to current and future roles required.Champion the use and embedment of internal procurement system (IFS).Effectively manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with processes, policies and procedures including regional relationships and support.Improve and manage the approved supplier database.Understand and implement the company quality, safety and environmental policies and targets.Ensure that the supply chain is competent in health and safety, quality, sustainability and environmental management.Incorporation of sustainable procurement and responsible business-related practices including improvements within supply chain selection and management.Monitor the performance of suppliers to ensure that the company continues to use those providing the best delivery service levels.Resolve supplier performance issues and disputes.Identify and manage team resource issues and performance issues.Set and monitor the department budgets to ensure high quality efficient delivery against business targets including recovery.Promote/uphold corporate vision and values.Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to all work, providing open and honest feedback.Experience:

Essential:Senior level experience of Procurement and Supply Chain.Management/leadership experience including a proven ability to drive organisational change.Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work in a demanding environment.Computer literate (use of Excel and Word).Desirable:Process/water industry experience.Construction industry experience.Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental qualifications.Supplier auditing and expediting expertise.IFS knowledge and experience.Key Relationships:

Regional and Joint Venture procurement and delivery teams.Project and technical staff.Clients and clients’ representatives.Subcontractors.Sustainability and Environmental Team.Competencies:
