About the position

We’re seeking a Corporate Development Manager who knows fundraising inside and out. Are you passionate about building relationships and excited about making a difference in the community? Do you enjoy working with companies to create meaningful volunteer opportunities? At Hands On Atlanta, the Corporate Development Manager is someone that can connect with businesses and help us secure sponsorship for our signature events. We need someone who can jump in from day one, help us grow our partnerships, and support our fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities Include

Corporate Partnership Development:

Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate sponsors for major events like Hands On Atlanta Week, MLK Days of Service and the High Five Party.

Serve as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate partners and sponsors, providing exceptional customer service and stewardship.

Create tailored sponsorship proposals, presentations, and agreements that highlight the value of partnership with Hands On Atlanta.

Relationship Management:

Foster long-term relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring their continued support and satisfaction.

Coordinate with sponsors and donors to fulfill their sponsorship benefits and ensure effective program delivery.

Planning & Operations:

Collaborate with the Director of Development to set and achieve annual sponsorship goals and targets.

Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive corporate fundraising strategy that aligns with Hands On Atlanta’s goals.

Analyze fundraising trends and outcomes to continuously improve our approach and effectiveness.

Reporting and Evaluation:

Track and report on our performance metrics and outcomes to measure the impact of our corporate partnerships.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on funder activities and progress toward goals.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in fundraising, businesses development or sales.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.

Ability to manage logistics and balance multiple initiatives simultaneously.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with the ability to navigate around greater Atlanta with ease.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)

Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.
