We are guided by our vision to Be the Better Bank and our purpose to enrich the lives of our customers, communities and colleagues.Department OverviewThis position is for the Credit Card Risk & Regulatory Reporting team, covering enhanced quality monitoring of TD credit card portfolio, strategy/validation, audit support, and ad-hoc regulatory reporting.Job DescriptionThe Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst III provides specialized end to end BI support, visualization / presentation, and analytics for a significant business/function and/or projects/initiative. May be considered a subject matter expert in BI and Reporting. Accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing evolution of a best-in-class reporting and/or BI capability and may deliver on ad-hoc projects as assigned. Designs/develops reports, cubes, dashboards, templated or specialized visualizations or multi-format presentations, and scorecards to support business needs; ensures sourcing of high-quality data and alignment of metrics across the organization.Depth & Scope:Experienced professional role providing specialized guidance/ assistance to function supportedLeads the design, development and implementation of portfolio reporting (acquisition, attrition, portfolio growth)Conducts analysis to provide enhanced Business Intelligence to inform management leadershipCreates complex and comprehensive Business Intelligence reporting packages and dashboards using localized datamarts and external data sourcesIdentifies and proposes data presentations to meet evolving businesses needs; utilizes various technology/ applications/ methodologies to rapidly generate impactful visualizationsRequires strong understanding of reporting, BI tools and visualization, platforms, and techniquesStrong knowledge of various data sources and ability to connect to multiple data sources and systems relevant to the business unit supportedConnects and queries data or obtain the data and prepare summaries and reportsProduces daily, weekly or monthly reports which evaluate performance and effectiveness of tactics in all channels; analyzes trends, provides insights and recommendations.Validates the quality and integrity of data in various bank systems and perform data engineering tasksWorks with business units and marketing partners to understand business drivers, definitions, metrics in order to interpret findings, take action and provide meaningful directionContributes to review of processes and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.Job RequirementsEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree or specialization in one of the fields below1-3 years of relevant experience from info management, computer science, programming specific Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of analytical and reporting software packagesProficient knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reportsStrong analytical and problem solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusionsExcellent written and verbal communications skills.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:SQL and programming skills (SAS and/or Python)MS Azure Cloud skills a plusSome understanding of Credit Card policies/strategies such as approve/decline, credit limit assignment, credit line increase, credit line decrease and being able to convert those policies into code to reverse engineer and verify execution matches intentAlteryx and Tableau skills are nice-to-have.InclusivenessOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionAt TD, we’re committed to fostering an environment where all colleagues are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work, experience equitable opportunities, and feel respected and supported.
