Our need is for an Operations Associate to join our Baltimore, MD location. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a close-knit group, in a team-based environment.We are looking for a full-time Buyer/Planner. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.Essential Position Functions:

Generate requests for quotes, requisitions, and purchase orders.Expedite all open purchase orders to cover requirements for assigned products, goods, and services.Ensure availability of materials to meet production schedules.Follow-up with open orders and NPI/Production expediting.Responsible for ERP transactions.Process MRB/RMA Transactions back to contract manufacturer.Prepare Internal Sales Orders for suppliers.Open purchase orders, review, and follow up including open purchase order report reconciliation.Create Shop Orders.Responsible for work order transactions.Supports other Associates and departments, as needed.Create Excel Reports.Assist with physical inventory counts.Resolve Invoice Problems.Update customer tracker/send backlog reports.Maintain min/max levels for all BSC Stores, including processing inter-store BSC inventory transfers.Manage “Warehouse 15” BSC JBAB/EOP min/max inventory/stock levels.Qualifications:

Proficient in the use of Windows Office Suite with strength in the use of Excel.Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.Previous production scheduling and use of various planning tools and software is a plus.Possesses an empowering philosophy about the capabilities of individuals who are blind.Must possess solid organizational skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Familiar with production routing, labor, and equipment scheduling.Previous experience with purchasing materials, production planning, and inventory management.This is a tremendous opportunity!
