J Thomas Home is a custom shelving manufacturer in Olathe, KS. We are a small family owned company with a fun, hardworking team. We are looking to add an administrative rock star that can support the sales, production and shipping teams. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, positive attitude and desire to improve every day.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all items being shipped out meet our high-quality standards.
Ensure all orders are shipped on time. You will do some shipping on a weekly basis.
Ensure all customer questions are answered.
Send quotes to customers.
Provide quality service and assist in resolving problems.
Basic administrative functions.
Maintain local files.
Create and file in folders.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Ensure the office is stocked on supplies, clean and organized.
Assist in analyzing sales data.
Work with vendors and warehouses to ensure stock, quality, shipping, etc.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Effective communication and organization skills required
Detail oriented
Commitment to providing excellent customer service essential
Experience in clerical/administrative in a production environment preferred
Data entry experience required
Strong Microsoft Office Skills Excel, Word, Outlook
Other computer applications, Adobe products, Bookkeeping software is a huge bonus.
