The Claim Business Product Manager (CBPM) is the primary technology liaison between the Claims business and IT/Global Technology Operations (GTO). In a consultative manner, partners with the claims business units to strategize, identify, elicit, and document business needs to ensure support from Claims Technology Solutions (CTS). Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of UAT to ensure that technology deliverables are received and accepted by the claims business organization. As product manager, responsible for production support management for incidents and bug fixes by working closely with Global Technology Organization (GTO) and the claims business to ensure that issues are identified, reported, managed, and communicated through to completion for all claims applications. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.Responsibilities

Supports the collaboration and development of division, program or project roadmaps that effectively deliver business capabilities.Supports other CTS Product Managers in requirements gathering and documentation efforts to ensure that business needs are understood and documented.Works with business and CTS members to ensure solutions (people, process, and technology) meet the program and/or project objectives and are aligned with business and IT strategic direction.Supports efforts to elicit business requirements required of technology solutions. Called upon to create simple business requirements documents and process diagrams with necessary CTS oversight and guidance.Support creation and administration of Business System Application and training documentation.Works with more senior level CTS Product Managers in mentee capacity where appropriate.Supports CTS team when working with external third parties on key initiatives and integrations.Supports and participates in UAT process from beginning to end to ensure that test strategy and test plans adequately address business requirements and processes and are fully executed.Provides support to QA resources including access and training for external applications.Supports efforts to develop, elicit, and document business requirements, work plans, identify task dependencies across initiatives, develop estimates and determine resource skill requirements; support risk management and change management activities.Assists in defect resolution including performing and supporting UAT and bug fixes and general application administration.Supports business communication of key project deliverables.Supports program level requirement traceability and changes throughout the project lifecycle.Keeps current with market trends and demands.Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.Qualifications

1+ experience in product management, consulting, or related technical role.BA/BS or equivalent relevant experience preferred.Creative thinker with a passion to build outstanding products, who thrives on solving challenging problems.Strong communication skills: verbal, written, listening to various levels across the organization.Knowledge of Commercial/Speciality Insurance products and claims processing applications utilized within this area of insurance and a basic understanding of claims adjudication and workflow.Basic understanding and experience in agile and lean philosophies.Aptitude for designing and delivering highly usable software that satisfies business objectives delivered within the optimal investment appetite.What We Offer
