RK&K is currently seeking an experienced Risk Assessment Manager to provide professional risk expertise in the oversight of FTA-funded major capital transit projects. The Risk Assessment Manager I will review project sponsor's risk management plans and supporting documentation and is responsible for performing risk and contingency reviews for FTA-funded major capital transit projects by serving as a technical resource and subject matter expert in risk assessment and mitigation. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location.

Required Skills and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited ProgramOR
a Bachelor of Architecture from a NAAB Accredited ProgramOR
licensure as a Professional Engineer in the United StatesCertification as a Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP or DRMP) is requiredKnowledge in performing probability modeling using factoring and Monte Carlo as well as other comparable simulations for risk analysis related to cost and schedule valuesMinimum of 7 years of overall experience working on risk assessments with 3 of the 7 years in passenger rail or related transportation modes3 of the 7 years of experience planning, designing, and implementing an overall risk management process for an organization
