Kerr Bikes Lead Staff

We're seeking a Lead for our Kerr Bikes seasonal rental store!Kerr Bikes provides the public with seasonal bike rental services, kayak rental, and adaptive equipment recreation. The Lead may supervise other Kerr Bikes employees, volunteers, and participants in services we provide, and will perform maintenance on bicycles as needed.ResponsibilitiesConsistently uses Standard Operating Procedures to rent equipment and complete tasksPerforms bike maintenance and repairsEnsures rental assets and shop is securedActs within the interests of Kerr Bikes and creates value while on shift, encouraging other staff to do the sameKeeps tidy environment and organizes parts/toolsCompletes daily and weekly logs on repair, inventory, register counts, and other reports as requiredCommunicates bike repairs and parts information to managerTakes responsibility for store in manager’s absencePrepares daily register reports, holds shop keys, makes bank deposits, gets change as needed, opens and closes store, and other operations duties as neededOther duties as requiredQualifications

Comfortable working aloneSupervisory experience preferredAbility to lift 100lbs, continuously bending, squatting, twisting, and standing for long periodsMechanical aptitude and knowledge of maintenance of bicycles
