By blending people-centric leadership with disciplined operational strategies and purpose-driven growth, Barry-Wehmiller has become a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Job Description:The Supply Chain Analyst role is instrumental in analyzing and interpreting data to improve supply chain efficiency, creating models and forecasts for planning, collaborating with teams to align strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, maintaining relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, supporting sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring compliance, and providing decision support tools for leaders. This role also involves analyzing make/buy decisions and business cases based on return on investment (ROI).Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis: Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.Cost Calculation and Analysis: Prepare and analyze accurate costings for complex and large-scale supply chain activities, investments, and agreements. Will require the ability to create and execute calculations to determine the total cost of ownership (TCO).Continuous Improvement & Supply Chain Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing business practices, then suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organization's change management program.Contract Requirements & Performance Analysis: Identify trends, summarize findings, and give feedback on existing contract performance, and provide as input to new contract processes for negotiations/renegotiations.Provide Key Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.Manage Internal Client Relationships: Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.Policies and Procedures Development: Contribute to the drafting of policies, procedures, and related guidelines within an area of expertise to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.Tasks

Analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.Develop and maintain supply chain models, tools, and forecasts to support planning and decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, lead times, supply chain costs, and supplier performance (cost, quality, on-time delivery).Identify and implement process improvements to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs.Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.Assist with sourcing and procurement activities by supporting supplier assessments, negotiations, and contract reviews.Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain operations.Analyze make/buy decisions and business cases (ROI based).Required Skills, Education and Experience:

Skills

Strong data collection and analytical skills.Very high proficiency with MS Excel and high proficiency with MS Office Suite.Working knowledge of Data Analytics platforms and tools (Power BI, Sievo, Tableau, etc.).Understanding and capability to work with Database systems and tools (Azure, SQL, etc.).High proficiency working in ERP systems (Preferred MS Dynamics, Infor, and SAP).Strong communication, problem solving, and conflict management skills.Working knowledge and application of project management skills and tools.Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent. Focus in Supply Chain or related field.6-10 years of relevant work experience.Travel:

Occasional domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position.Physical Demands:
