Fierce Whiskers is expanding its sales force and seeking Market Development Representatives to drive growth in the whiskey industry. This position offers an exciting chance to advance in spirits sales within a dynamic and rapidly expanding market. As a Market Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and success of Fierce Whiskers Distillery.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

Drive growth in sales and expand business opportunities within assigned accounts, focusing on increasing points of distribution and market share for Fierce Whiskers Rye and Bourbon.Utilize consumer insights and industry trends to enhance brand awareness, educate customers, address challenges, and optimize sales performance.Take the lead in coordinating with distributors for in-store sales activities, including merchandising, marketing initiatives, and overall execution for designated accounts.Meet volume targets and sales objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.Develop and execute strategic programs to achieve distribution goals, enhance merchandising standards, improve product displays, and drive retail promotions.Nurture productive relationships with assigned customers, understanding their unique needs and tailoring strategies accordingly.Organize and execute brand sampling initiatives at accounts to boost on-premise support and engagement.Act as the primary liaison between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with key customers to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.Provide sales support by implementing promotional programs, managing distribution activities, and addressing customer needs.Adhere to state-specific regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring all activities align with legal requirements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of relevant professional sales alcohol beverage experienceValid driver's licenseAbility and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)Strong planning & organizational skillsWillingness to TravelMust be able to obtain a relevant solicitor’s permit in any stateCandidate must reside in or near the territoryManage business expenses and submit expense reports for timely reimbursement

Preferred Qualifications

4 years of sales experience in the alcohol beverage industryMarket development and sales analysis experienceStrong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve resultsTABC server certification

The compensation range is a base salary of $50,000-$60,000 based on experience with commission that could lead to total pay equal or exceeding $100,000. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage.
