As a Janitorial Specialist for a leading Biotech corporation, your role will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). You will be responsible for following established cleaning practices, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold the company's commitment to quality standards and regulatory compliance.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform cleaning services per scope and follow governing SOPs in non-classified spaces where applicable.Maintain a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks such as mopping and vacuuming floors, high and low dusting, deep cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and appropriate disposal of waste receptacles daily, including recyclables.Complete deep cleans, office restoration, and special projects requested by Janitorial Supervisor and JLL/BMS managerial teams.Prepare work areas and assess floor conditions.Strip old wax and sealants using appropriate chemicals and equipment.Clean and rinse floors thoroughly after stripping.Apply new wax in multiple coats, ensuring even coverage.Buff and polish floors to achieve the desired finish.Verify that the proper chemicals are used for each designated area assigned.Organize and upkeep janitor closets, supply storage, and cleaning equipment.Notify Janitorial Supervisor of occurring deficiencies, safety concerns, and need for repairs sitewide.Work Schedule:

Wednesday-Sunday, 1 PM-9:30 PM. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, and as such, you may be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Please note that this is a union position.Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:Prior experience of cleaning a biopharmaceutical GMP controlled environment is a plus.Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably in a regulated industry such as biotech or pharmaceuticals is a plus.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.Required Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Familiarity with cGMPs and adherence to SOPs.Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.Experienced in floor care techniques, specifically stripping and waxing.Proficient in operating floor buffers, strippers, and other related equipment.Knowledge of proper chemical usage and safety procedures for floor stripping and waxing.Ability to follow detailed instructions for floor care processes.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment.Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout the workday.Ability to read, write, and understand documentation in English.Salary:

Minimum Salary: $31,200.00; Maximum Salary: $31,200.00; Salary Unit: Yearly
