In coordination and in conjunction with the Leadership team, the Business Development Coordinator will help increase the company's business opportunities by promoting its name recognition within specific markets. This is accomplished through office visits, advertising, participation in trade shows, and conventions.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Develops a draft of the marketing advertising and conference budget.Identifies trade shows, conventions, conferences, and exhibits in which the company will participate (in accordance with the current marketing budget).Determines, coordinates, and arranges convention/exhibit activities, including speaking engagements, hospitality suites, sponsorships of special events, and displays.Ensures that participation with specific AEC organizations (CASH, CSAC, ACCA, CCLC, CEAC, CSBA, etc.) occurs on a frequent, effective, and consistent basis.Identifies new business prospects, making initial client contacts and qualifying prospective clients.Maintains database (Deltek) of existing clients and prospective clients.Assists with various special projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Required Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include grammar, proofreading/editing and spelling. Proactive in finding information and tracking that info into our database (Deltek) and sharing with team.Ability to:
Maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with coworkers and clients. Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and assignments with conflicting deadlines. Detail and task oriented, with the ability to think strategically.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.Four + years business development and/or marketing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction fields.Strong CRM database knowledge (we use Deltek).Current drivers license with ability to travel as needed.The Salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000.Benefits
