Howard Technology Solutions, a division of Howard Industries, is a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider for the K-12, Higher Education, Government, and Commercial markets. HTS is looking for a motivated, well-organized Project Manager. This position will be responsible for managing projects and supporting sales staff throughout the region.Responsibilities

Review project documentation and consult with project design engineers to secure appropriate installation and programming resources for each project.Solicit estimates from subcontractors where required.Verify and inventory equipment delivered to job sites.Coordinate installation schedule with customer and with installation teams based upon equipment delivery schedule.Supervise on-site labor as needed.Work with project general contractor, architect, and other building trades to ensure proper integration with customer site.Verify proper system installation and programming deployment as per project Scope of Work.Provide on-site support as needed for off-site programming resources.Procure project completion sign-off from customer.Deliver all necessary post-project documentation to customer upon project completion.Skills/Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.Extensive experience installing, testing, and commissioning custom audio, video, and control systems.Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot and resolve various service issues related to Integrated AV systems.Strong knowledge of signal flow, audio/video signal types, cabling, connector types, and associated termination procedures.Must be able to read and follow AV system schematics and supporting documentation (CAD drawings, blueprints, and manuals).Availability to travel as needed. Reliable transportation is required. Some overnight travel may be needed.Familiarity with commercial product lines including (but not limited to) Crestron, Extron, Epson, Biamp, and DaLite.Experience managing multiple small to medium ( Responsible for managing and updating project documentation during installation/commissioning process.Ability to field engineer solutions to unanticipated design or site challenges.Minimum 5 years commercial AV experience.Documented experience installing and commissioning small to medium AV systems.A thorough, demonstrable understanding of systems integration techniques.Skilled in the programming of audio DSP units from multiple vendors.Skilled in the loading of Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AMX, and QSC code to processors.Basic understanding of IP networking.AVIXA General CTS / CTS-I preferred.Reliable transportation.Experienced MS Office and MS Project user; AutoCAD or other drawing/documentation software experience a plus.Benefits
