Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services.Position SummaryThe Corporate Pilot adjusts and applies all risk assessments for flights and conditions, flying company aircraft and carrying passengers for official work trips.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFlies company aircraft, carrying passengers for official work trips.Meets with passengers on business travel.Assists in filing the itinerary and flight plans at the airport.Checks aircraft prior to flights to ensure that the engines, controls, instruments, and other systems are functioning properly.Uses instrumentation to pilot aircraft when visibility is poor.Starts engines, operates controls, and pilots airplanes to transport passengers, according to flight plans, regulations, and procedures.Monitors engine operation, fuel consumption, and functioning of aircraft systems during flights.Considers airport altitudes, outside temperatures, plane weights, and wind speeds and directions to calculate the speed needed to become airborne.Assists with safety audits and routine maintenance inspections on aircraft.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsCorporate pilot license, professional, with a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of related experience. Thorough understanding of flight regulations and procedures. Excellent communication and organizational skills.Physical DemandsHigh-pressure working environment. Requires long periods of sitting and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to obtain an FAA First Class Medical certification. Vision requirements for 20/20 distant and 20/40 near, both with or without correction.
