Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle, from approval and planning to execution and closeout, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects. This role involves managing moderately-to-highly complex projects and requires an innovative and energetic approach.
Essential Responsibilities
Organize and prepare detailed scope of work descriptions
Complete project estimates, including take-offs, pricing, bid summaries, and final bid preparation
Proactively follow up on proposal status via verbal and email communication
Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, and milestones
Perform site surveys, attend meetings, and propose solutions to installation challenges
Communicate and negotiate with vendors on material costs and subcontractor agreements
Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project schedules
Coordinate the design, installation, maintenance, and documentation of ICT systems projects, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and other supporting systems
Collaborate with field teams to ensure timely project completion
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors
Oversee all project-related invoicing, ensuring timely submission
Lead regular project team meetings to update action items and project schedules
Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications
Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools for communication, bidding, and document management
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the growth of the position
Education and Experience
Certificate from a technical college and at least 3 years of relevant experience in structured cabling and physical security industry
5 years of project management experience
Experience in the engineering/contractor industry is preferred
Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology design within the built environment is preferred
Advanced knowledge of ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards
BICSI certification or RCDD is a plus
