Business Development Assistant Project Manager!
The Business Development APM will provide support and manage projects related to the Business Development team in the pursuit of new opportunities within MRG/IMEG’s portfolio of existing and potential retail locations in a variety of markets; airports, casinos/resorts, high traffic tourist destinations and travel retail venues.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceFREE Life InsuranceShort- & Long-Term Disability InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off401k with company matchHuge Employee Discount at all our stores, so check us outAmazing training & career pathCompetitive pay!And more!What You'll DoEnsure all BD output meets WHSmith brand standardsAssist and support the Divisional Director for Business Development and Project Manager on presentations for direct negotiations and client presentations supporting Resorts/Casinos, Rail, and Airport RFP’s, direct negotiations, and InterviewsMay act as project manager where the Project Manager, Business Development and Team BD is working on multiple projectsMaintain the proof-reading process with third parties to ensure RFP compliance and accuracyManage the coordination of various elements of RFP responses with other departmentsMaintain Business Development projects from an administrative perspectiveEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors as appropriateProfessionally communicate with third parties such as Clients, Landlords, Minority Business Partners, Industry Consultants, Third Party Brand Partners and VendorsMay attend a variety of interdepartmental meetingsEnsure that all aspects of the Development Process are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirementsLead tasks pertaining to Projects and RFP process and developmentManage, source, and organize the assembly and packaging of the final RFP proposals, and potential hand delivery of same within the appropriate timelineWork well under stress and tight deadlinesMaintain reports and make team members aware of priorities to prevent delays within the projectConduct him/herself in the spirit of the WHSNA mission, vision, core values and organizational healthOther duties may be assignedWhat You Bring2+ years of experience working with high-level, fast-paced B2B sales executivesExperience in project management helpfulAbility to multitask, problem solve, and possess a sense of urgency and flexibilityOrganization and time management skillsAdvanced computer skills in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPointSubject to satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug TestingSpur of the moment transportation requiredAbout UsWHSmith is a leading global travel retailer with over 1,700 stores across 30 countries worldwide.
