Job DescriptionThe University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) University Advancement (UA) is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst. The Analyst combines and harmonizes data from multiple sources into a unified, coherent format to be used for various analytical, operational and decision-making purposes within the Advancement function. The position works with business subject matter experts to identify, collect, and document business requirements and translate business needs into technology solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of both business processes and technical systems.

Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related professional work experience OR Master’s Degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience.

Related Experience: Experience in querying and creating objects in relational database technologies, preferably Microsoft SQL Server Suite (SQL, SSIS, SSRS): Data analysis, problem resolution, integration development and support; Documentation of technical specifications or business processes. Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence (BI) workflows or related experience.

Travel RequirementsOccasional travel may be required.

Compensation GradeAdministrative Faculty – C
