Ready to design what's next?In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers who build and maintain microservices and features within WFM (Workforce Management) by ADP's time management platform to help our customers save time, stay compliant, and manage their workforce. No two days are alike. You will facilitate the team's work through coaching and guidance and provide leadership with realistic expectations and deadlines. You will be the final set of eyes to review code for quarterly initiatives and manage ad-hoc requests as they arise. You'll be accountable for something significant: the uncompromising quality of products that impact people's lives.To thrive in this role, you'll need a solid understanding of software development at scale, including a deep knowledge of Java programming using Spring and Microservices in an environment with containers and cloud computing. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will keep the team informed of company-wide initiatives and leaders comfortable with the team's progress. Team collaboration and exchange of ideas are central to projects here. You will be a role model for motivating yourself and the team to maintain positive momentum and energy. Pace does not scare you. Everyone can lose the big picture from time to time, but you're the team leader who helps everyone find it again and deliver.TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.Prior experience that would give you extra comfort in the role includes:Proficiency in Java/JEE technologies, DDD, BDDHands-on experience with Springboot and Spring integrationsGIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Public Cloud (AWS)Backend architecture and event driven architectureUnderstands the business logic behind the various HR calculations, and assists in creating new standard calculations for the organizationYOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:Drive cultural change and transformation.
