This role will reside in Jersey City, NJ and report to the Director, Content Marketing. The role works in the office 2 days/week.Verisk is a leading data analytics company specializing in the insurance sector. Our advanced analytics solutions empower insurance companies to make data-driven decisions, optimize operations, and enhance customer experiences.We are seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Content Marketing Strategist to help develop our content marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies, the function and distribution of content throughout the customer journey including SEO, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to craft compelling content campaigns that resonate with our target audience.This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, project management skills, and a results-driven approach to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.Job Responsibilities

Support the Director, Content Marketing, to develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that earns buy-in from marketing and business leaders and aligns with the company's business objectives.Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to identify key messages and value propositions to be communicated through content, and content marketing tactics to drive quarterly campaigns.Establish KPIs and best practices for measuring and analyzing content performance to assess effectiveness and ROI.In collaboration with the team, recommend, develop, and execute strategic programs and communications to support sales, marketing, investor relations, and corporate objectives.Identify marketing initiatives that elevate Verisk, position the company as a global thought leader, drive business imperatives, and align with corporate messaging.Create high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, newsletters, and social media content.Help manage Verisk-wide tools and guidelines for Verisk tone, style, and voice across all brand content.Maintain a deep understanding of Verisk's industries, businesses, product lines and value propositions, along with its competitive landscape.Partner with internal teams to develop high quality, customer-focused digital content, including persuasive copy for microsites, product pages, and landing pages.Champion and follow best practices for the team based on your understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging content marketing technologies/tools.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.7+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment focused on the insurance industry.Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns that have driven growth and engagement.Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.Strong understanding of content strategy, copywriting, content analytics, and digital marketing best practices.Familiarity with content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Skills
