You will have the opportunity to bring Vuori materials and design to life. As the Materials Coordinator you will help to optimize and own the materials library space, providing clarity and organization to broader teams. You are a part of the link between design, merchandising, and development. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of fabric, trims and color with a stronger aptitude for organization. This role splits time between all the materials org fabric, color and trims.Qualifications

What you'll get to do:Manage physical and digital library for fabric, trim, and color teams.Manage submits by distributing and filing daily to ensure functionality and organization of library.Manage and monitor master document updates as changes occur.Responsible for the data integrity of master library document for fabrics and trims.PLM data Integrity and updates.Assist in preparation for meetings by organizing samples / submits / associated tools or document(s).Assist on work with Design/Merchandising/Development to present appropriate seasonal materials that meet Vuori’s design aesthetic and corporate target margin goals.Partner with manager to communicate with suppliers and vendors; written and verbal, on pertinent development related issues.Own mill visit calendar and scheduling as it relates to development timelines.Assist and own palette creation on a seasonal basis.Strong organizational and communication skills to help support teams and drive efficiencies.Who you are:Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Merchandising, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.Sense of fashion and trend in relation to the market.Knowledge of materials used in the engineering and manufacturing processes used to build products a plus.Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop a plus.Aptitude for systems and systematic work.Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:Willing and able to work additional hours when needed.Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25lbs, depending on need.Additional Information
