Job OverviewThe estimator/planner is responsible for growing customer relations through estimating, preparing bid proposals, onboarding new awards, and planning the work order process.

Required Experience
Extensive aerospace machining experience required
In-depth knowledge of aerospace and defense supply chain and customer requirements
Experience with ERP/MRP systems
Experience with MBD, DPD, RDD
Experience and ability to use CAD viewing software (CATIA, ENOVIA)
Working knowledge of AS9100 and basic processes
Extensive experience with blue print reading and GD&T, understanding of complex BOMs and aerospace customer specifications
Knowledge of aerospace finish processes
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office
Experience with Lean principles and disciplines
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accurately defining customer, industry and product requirementsResearch labor and material costsDevelop estimated method of manufacturing meeting customer requirementsDevelop and maintain supply chain and customer relations for quoting activityUse Excel to analyze market dataAssist with forecasting pending new work opportunitiesProvide market feedback for operations growth strategyUpon receipt of award; assist with new product introductionCreate internal work order planning based off estimated manufacturing cost structure within the framework of customer requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
