Job SummaryThe Grain Processing business in IFF - Health & Biosciences is a leading supplier of enzymes, yeasts, and microbial control agents within the global Fermentation Alcohol and Carbohydrate Processing industry and beyond. We provide our customers with innovative biotechnology solutions and are expanding our team to support bringing our innovations to the market and have an exciting opportunity for a Project and Product Manager.The Project and Product Manager role is pivotal for the execution of our R&D and Application Development projects within Grain Processing to ensure a sustainable pipeline of innovative new products. This position will be based in the US with options including Wilmington, Delaware, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Beloit, Wisconsin, or Palo Alto, California, with some flexibility for remote work.Responsibilities:Project Management

Manage a portfolio of R&D and application development projects focusing on product development and cost improvements aligned with the regional and global segment strategies and execution plans.Act as single point of contact for these projects ensuring high quality execution, from defining the projects to the successful launch of new products in target markets.Additionally, manage other larger cross functional efforts requiring a single point of contact.Implement governance standards across the project portfolio and ensure comprehensive documentation and communication of project and product information (incl. technical and financial metrics, project plans, project risks, product related documents, etc.).Mitigate risk at project level, including but not limited to commercial, technical, regulatory, and legal.Work with project teams to implement process and framework improvements.

Product Management

Support the regional teams across the globe with product initiations and related documentation.Work with global segment leaders as well as regional industry leaders on product phaseouts and related workstreams.Develop framework to consolidate most relevant product information (incl. product properties, registration status, etc.) and make it easily accessible to the relevant functions and people.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above, major in science or engineering fields or in innovation management.At least 5 years working experience with demonstrated product development and/or project leadership experience following a stage gate process.Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.Analytical and business mindset, questioning status quo.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.Excellent team player.Willingness to travel as and when required (~10%).Preferred Experience:Experience or knowledge of the Grain Processing industry preferred.
