The Supply Chain Network Specialist is primarily responsible for providing detailed costing and GP analysis to various teams within the organization. This role will integrate the work with NPD, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and other appropriate functions to implement accurate Supply Chain COGS (Cost of Goods Sold). Additionally, the role entails responsibility for building and maintaining costing models within designated regions.Essential Job Functions:Build, implement, and maintain costing tools to conduct in-depth analyses that include raw materials, packaging, labor, overhead, transportation, warehousing, duty/tax, and inventory holding costs.Design and develop new costing models tailored to the specific needs of different supply chain activities.Customize cost models to accommodate unique scenarios such as changes in supply chain design, expansion into new markets, or introduction of innovations.Manage large datasets related to supply chain costs, using advanced Excel functions and other data analysis tools to derive insights and produce accurate reports.Ensure the integrity of data in the costing model, database, and financial systems, performing regular audits to ensure alignment with current pricing, vendor information, operational metrics, and market conditions.Serve as the key point of contact for all cost-related questions within a supply chain region, offering analytical support for operational decision-making.Work with procurement teams to analyze supplier cost structures and negotiate more favorable terms based on data-driven insights.Partner with Finance, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to share costing insights, validate cost data, and drive process improvements.Support long-term forecasts for supply chain operations by creating and adjusting forward-looking cost models that factor in industry trends, currency fluctuations, tariff changes, and commodity price volatility.Understand product complexity by developing matrix tools to recommend the best Supply Chain strategy.Attend OPS meetings to stay up to date on current supply chain changes and provide insight during discussions.Assist in determining optimal supply chain network and costing structures by analyzing what-if scenarios.Basic Position Requirements:Bachelor of Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Related Field.1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain cost analysis, finance, or a related role.Proficient analytical skills emphasizing cost analysis and financial modeling.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, cost drivers, and key performance indicators.Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Accomplished in communication and presentation skills.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of data accuracy.Strong problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI [Preferred].
