A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the team in the greater San Antonio area. Responsibilities include serving the Geotechnical Engineering department for this service line in the greater San Antonio region, including the San Antonio/Austin IH-35 Corridor. The Project Manager's duties encompass managing project engineers and assisting in growing and effectively conducting the Geotechnical Engineering business in the greater San Antonio region. These responsibilities include preparing scopes of work and proposals, acting as the project manager for geotechnical projects performed by the project engineers, having profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities for the projects managed, developing new and enhancing existing relationships with clients and influencers, and maintaining accurate project records and files while following established protocols. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution5+ years of combined experience within the civil engineering discipline3+ years of experience analyzing soil and rock properties to design foundations and other structuresProfessional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months if currently licensed in another stateMaster's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Geotechnical Engineering experienceDay-to-Day Responsibilities:

Direct and supervise field-logging activities during drilling operations when engineering supervision is requiredCoordinate drilling activities with subcontractors and RKIs field staffOversee the classification of soil samples in the laboratoryManage laboratory-testing assignments according to the testing program outlined in the proposalAnalyze field data and laboratory test results, and perform necessary calculations for engineering reportsCoordinate the preparation and review of geotechnical engineering reports, ensuring the quality of final reportsCollaborate with other divisions or consultants for project support as neededSupport CoMET Operations in the field during construction when requiredMonitor product quality, design, and technology to ensure consistency with contractual agreements and company protocolsProvide mentorship and professional development to professional, technical, clerical, and support staffAdhere to and participate in the Raba Kistner Health and Safety and Behavior-Based Safety Programs, setting a good safety exampleCommunicate with clients regarding schedules, project milestones, scope changes, etc.Assist in the preparation of proposals and Statements of Qualifications, and engage in business development activitiesActively participate in relevant technical and professional organizations as directed by the SupervisorPerform other duties as assigned
