Supply Chain Manager

Role will report to the General Manager of the US Supply organization, managing the materials team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement of logistics, inventory control, strategic sourcing and tactical procurement.Essential Job Functions

Supervise and manage all shipping, logistics, & inventory control activities/personnel, to include cycle counting and inventory accuracy, warehouse organization and logistics cost reduction optimization controls for inbound/outbound freight.Responsible for all strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier rationalization, supplier scorecard development, global supply chain cost savings strategy and internal/external regulatory compliance improvements.Lead projects to improve the consumption-based planning and tactical purchasing capability of the organization, to increase inventory turns, min/max finish goods stocking levels and develop standard processes utilizing JDE/Oracle based ERP/MRP.Participate and implement lean management, KPI, data/metric driven culture change through lean material management, supply side delivery, material pull system and PFEP (Plan For Every Part) supply chain solutions.Experience

5-7 Years of Materials Management Experience.Global supply chain, commodity management, with expertise in exotic steel materials, shapes, casting, stamping and machining.
