Party Chief

CWR is a growing road construction company. We are currently seeking an experienced Party Chief for our local operations.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for coordinating the activity, effective performance, training, and safety of all members of a field survey partyDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of survey computations, types of surveys and field operations in construction site / heavy civil layoutSupervises all survey crew members performing construction stakeout, and surveys including topographic, boundary and utilityPrepare topographic and contour maps of land surveyedMaintain quality of all measurementsRecord all required data collected and calculations made and review for correctnessMaintain equipment and vehicles used by surveying crewsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in heavy civil construction surveying and FDOT stake out experience requiredTrimble machine control experience and GPS layout knowledge is a plusGeneral knowledge and understanding of ALTA standardsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s licenseEmployer conducts drug screening and background checkWe offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits.EOE/AA, DFWP, We Honor Those Who Have Served.Thank you for your interest in opportunities with CWR!To submit your application successfully, kindly ensure completion of all sections by clicking on the '+' sign to expand each section, providing required information, and saving your progress before proceeding.
