The Supply Planning Lead is a working Lead role who supervises a team of Supply Planners and is responsible for planning the end to end supply chain for products within designated product line(s). Supply Planners collaborate with Demand Planners, Logistics, Procurement, Key Suppliers and Plants to develop an optimal Value Chain and minimize the cost to serve our customers while providing high levels of service. Work includes, but is not limited to capacity planning, supply planning/forecasting at a product/customer level, establishing stocking strategies, MRP strategy, metric analysis, root cause and corrective action, and identifying supply constraints.Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop a team of professional Supply Planners. Create accountabilities and execute regular reviews with each employee on progress to meet documented targets/accountabilities.Develop long-term rolling supply forecast (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation. Collaboration with Demand Planning function will be required to ensure understanding of demand forecast.Coordinate Regional/Plant inventory strategies and capacity plan by working with Supply Chain stakeholders.Work with Commercial Team/Demand Planners to align product launch(s) and changes to customer applications then work with Plants and Logistics to ensure timely supply of products to the new business.Lead monthly Supply Planning Meetings as a component of the monthly S&OP Cycle. Meetings will review approved forecasted Supply Plan with Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Supply/Inventory/Capacity/Production Plan.Event or constrained manufacturing management. This includes development of supply plan if demand is greater than supply, raw material constraints impacting supply plan or events which take capacity offline (example: Weather, Plant outage).Provide accurate available-to-promise (ATP) information to customer service representatives and manage any exceptions when ATP is not acceptable to the customer. This would include working with Production facilities to realign schedules to satisfy customer demands that exceed confirmed production schedules whenever possible. When it is not possible, or practical, to provide quantities or dates that exactly match the customers' requests, provide the best possible delivery promises.Create stocking strategies of both raw material and FG inventory to align with Solenis Supply Chain targets like Working Capital and Service Levels.Drive planning and production scheduling activities through MRP. Supply Planners will maintain MRP data integrity and collaborate with Plants, Replenishment Team, and Master Data to adjust MRP settings.Lead continuous improvement opportunities by root cause analysis process and the development of corrective actions to address variances in Supply Chain Performance (e.g. Service Levels).Analyze the value chain supplying products within the product portfolio and look for optimization opportunities. Opportunities could include, but are not limited to, working with Logistics to find different modes of transportation to deliver product to a customer, make changes to the current distribution (warehouse) network and/or changing the production footprint for products within your SBU.Qualifications:

BA/BS college degree or its equivalent. MBA preferred.7 years of related planning and scheduling experience.Prior S&OP leadership experience.Knowledge of SAP, INFOR or Logility or other software related to demand planning is preferred.Organized individual who can coordinate and lead activities that could involve multiple Solenis stakeholders and various levels of leadership.Computer literate in PC applications - good knowledge of Excel, Access and Word.Experience in MRP systems, inventory management a plus.
