You will oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing improvement projects, acting as a liaison between Project Team and Line Management. You will support our programs by managing the review of the status of the project, budget, schedules and preparing status reports. You will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfactions goals.As a Manager, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of this discipline, you will work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. Lead projects, provide guidance and manage own time to meet objectives.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.Forecast and plan resource requirements (people, financial and technology) for projects across the department.Manage and participate in pre-studies, projects and other activities for increasing operational efficiencies, change in business strategies or in support of operational imperatives.ROLE SUMMARY

This position will lead multiple strategic capital facility projects at Pfizer’s Bothell site to transform the research and development laboratory work spaces at the speed of science. This role is expected to manage projects up to $100M in spend annually. The role will lead multiple cross-functional project teams consisting of researchers, site/facility operations, architects, engineers, consultants and internal stakeholders (EH&S, Digital, Security, etc.). Reporting to the Global Workplace Experience Program Manager NE/MW, this role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of individual assigned projects, aligned with Pfizer's strategic objectives.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget and resource allocation. Provide valuable insights during project ideation to inform strategies for funding and alternative selection. Provides recommended solutions to meet or exceed strategic goals and project drivers.Project Execution : Manage projects from conception to completion. Develop and coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct project meetings, lead and facilitate stakeholder communications and moderate risk assessments. Source, procure, negotiate and execute project services and construction supplier agreements. Monitor project progress, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain project budget, schedule and quality. Inform Project Management Office of cost and schedule trending, forecasting and safety metrics for the assigned project/s.Stakeholder Management:

Establish and maintain effective communication with R&D scientists, engineers, facilities and procurement teams. Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met. Resolve conflicts and prioritize competing demands to keep projects on track.Budget & Resource Management:

Manage project budgets, track expenses and provide regular financial updates. Allocate resources efficiently considering both internal and external resources. Identify cost-savings opportunities without compromising project quality.Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety policy and protocol, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high-quality deliverables. Prepare documentation for audits and inspection.Team Management:

Manage design and construction teams, and develop and maintain site/customer client relationships. Facilitate and inform stakeholders through regular project status reports and governance meetings.Continuous Improvement : Conduct lessons learned on all project executions including stakeholders for feedback on project performance to inform improved project delivery.Project Safety & Environmental Health:

Manage project execution that implements Pfizer’s environmental, health & safety standards and construction safety programs while adhering to agreed milestones and program KPIs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in pharmaceutical research and development facilities.Project Management Professional certification (PMP) strongly preferredExperience in managing mid to large-scale (up to $100M), complex programs with multiple projects and stakeholders.Experience with GxP regulatory requirements neededProficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or other project management softwareStrong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage program budgets.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to work with team members to develop a project execution planFacilitation, Negotiation & Problem Resolution SkillsAbility to build a strong network and relationships with external consultants and vendorsDemonstrate professional, high integrity, trustworthy and ethical behavior alwaysAdvanced level of critical thinking, communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsDemonstrated sound judgment and ability to make effective decisions independently with minimal escalation to or supervision from managerStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and softwareExcellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and ability to handle ambiguityAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience dealing with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)Experience implementing sustainable design and building practicesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to perform complex problem solving and analysis of financial, logistics and engineering issuesKnowledge of legal, regulatory, and safety standards in real estate and constructionNON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
