Success is measured by meeting sales objectives while exceeding customer requirements as you work with Outside Account Managers to increase your skills, expertise, and career development opportunities across the industry. The opportunities to learn and assist with many different and exciting manufacturing traits are endless with new experiences daily.Some example clients where we apply our talents are:Helping a major Aerospace client get to Mars fasterWorking with some of the world’s largest internet-based retailers to get the right products to their customers fasterAiding in automating processes at one of the largest ports on the East CoastEnsuring that attractions at major family entertainment venues continue to operate reliablyAssisting industry-leading battery manufacturers in optimizing manufacturing processesRecommending solutions to a world-famous car manufacturer that transforms metal into a fully functional vehicle in 2 daysHow you’ll make an impact:Responsible for building, developing, and retaining customers necessary to drive a high-performance sales team, along with ensuring succession for accounts.Acknowledge & process customer’s Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO)Establish and manage customer requirements, including quote follow-ups and pro-expedite purchase ordersDirect sales forecasting activities, analyze account sales data and promote salesCommunicate with Outside Account Managers and Project Managers to establish profit, inventory suggestions, and pricing requirements for key accountsReview work processes to ensure that internal and external quality standards are followed and suggest improvementsExamine ways to offer practical, creative alternatives that increase AWC’s chances of successfully closing orders at higher marginsSkills you’ll need:2-year technical degree (preferred in an Engineering discipline)Minimum of 2 years of Automation and Electrical industry experienceMust be a team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goalsSense of urgency, high energy with high accountabilityAbility to clearly communicate (verbal and written via phone, e-mail, etc.)Willingness to be on call for after-hours & weekend support periodicallyPractical working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelHere’s what will set you apart:Bachelor’s degree (preferred in an Engineering)Base level knowledge of Electrical and Automation products, including but not limited to PLC’s, IO’s, Safety Devices, Enclosures, Motor Starters, Variable Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Sensors, Panelboards, etc.Basic understanding of electricity, panel design/wiring, manufacturing/OEM experienceThe Rewards:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(K) MatchCompetitive PayMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance PackageEmployer Paid Life InsurancePaid Time Off and Holiday PayCareer Development OpportunitiesAbout AWCAs employee-owners, we strive to do more than just complete tasks; we seek to develop fulfilling careers by pushing ourselves and questioning the status quo.
