With sustainability at the forefront of everything we do, our tools and our people have changed the world for the better.At Atlas Copco Vacuum North America, the role of the Equipment Sales Manager is critical in driving sales while ensuring an exceptional experience for both new and existing customers.As a Vacuum Equipment Sales Manager, your mission is to drive sales growth within the assigned territory (covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, and Montana). You will prospect, source, and maintain quality customers, exceeding sales goals by selling industrial vacuum pumps and systems directly to clients. Your strategy will focus on building strong customer relationships, introducing new products, and actively engaging in prospecting activities to expand market share.Main Responsibilities

Identify and maintain quality customers by actively prospecting and sourcing leads.Develop action plans and schedules to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.Implement a sales and marketing strategy to maximize business results with existing and new customers.Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers, including key accounts, distributors, and direct sales personnel.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow up on new leads resulting from field activity and telemarketing.Introduce new products and service capabilities to customers.Prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and vacuum application information.Attend local, regional, and national promotional opportunities such as trade shows, exhibits, and conferences.Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and credit terms to customers.Maintain a professional image through personal actions and initiatives.Uphold the company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.Embrace the principle of “First in mind, First in choice.”Take appropriate actions to establish and maintain communications with relevant internal and external stakeholders.Assist sales managers and distributors with vacuum applications knowledge, sales activities, quotations, and leads using Company CRM.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and networking.Continuously pursue knowledge of economic trends that may affect the vacuum pump and system business. Report relevant activity to Business Line Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and regional Sales Representatives.Prepare reports on activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget.Report special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes, and evaluation of competitive developments.Perform any other duties as assigned.Provide leadership in maintaining and improving the QMS and ISO 9001 Certification.Provide leadership in maintaining best safety practices.What you can expect from us?
