- Coordinate material control systems, inbound/outbound shipments, and materials handling activities and inventory control primarily from the shop floor.- Coordinate all material handler activities.- Coordinate activities for warehouse layout.- Training, coaching, developing the material handling team.- Implement and assist in development of cycle counting and pull system for each commodity.- Manage/coordinate the receiving and DMR processes.- Manage the input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.- Manage the process of outbound shipments.- Coordinate all customs compliance requirements.- Observe Materials/Production operation within their area of control to ascertain compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, 5’s and Production/Materials Standards.- Ensure efficient operation of equipment: take corrective action to eliminate any deviation.- Assist in maintaining and revising visual inventory benchmarks standards.- Daily coordination of Production builds schedules.- Conduct daily floor walks.- Act as liaison between Materials and Productions.- Coordinate any outside warehouse activities.- Run RPS history reports and cumulative reports verifying receipts have been collected in RPS file.- Manage the process of supplier cum reconciliation.- Monitor system for accurately tracking Truckload Utilization (TUMS).- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality system.- Manage and maintain onsite replenishment of Trailers (Shelve).- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.- Initiate, recommend, and provide solutions through designated channels.- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.- Actively participate in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process in order to develop root cause analysis for problem resolution as required.- Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions which could adversely affect other team members, assets or the public.- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and ensure safe working procedures in assigned material areas.About Us
