Commercial Lines Account ExecutivePosition Summary:

Reporting to the Property & Casualty Practice Leader in

Rocky Hill, CT , the Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for the retention and growth of an assigned book of business. The Account Executive builds relationships with clients and prospects to achieve client satisfaction. This role will be working with large accounts.What You’ll Do:Cultivate relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and teammates to drive retention and new business.Lead renewal process for assigned book of business.Oversee the completion of administrative tasks including issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements.Identify gaps in coverage and advise clients and prospective clients with options; work through complex coverage needs.Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure understanding of client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals.Support marketing and sales teams.Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.What You’ll Need:Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage.At least 5 years of Commercial Lines experience.Property & Casualty License, required.Insurance designation, preferred.Experience working with AMS 360, preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.What We Offer:Excellent growth and advancement opportunities.Competitive pay based on experience.Discretionary Time Off (DTO).Generous benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k), and many additional benefits.Employee Stock Purchase Plan.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
