ADP is hiring a Data Center Facilities ManagerThe world of technology is changing at a rapid pace with increased complexity and demand. ADP does this by leveraging software defined infrastructure, Infrastructure as a Service, integrating with ADP’s multi-cloud framework.The Data Center Facilities Manager will be required to manage a team responsible for operation and maintenance of a large critical data center supporting a global IT Infrastructure at ADP. The Manager is an onsite 24/7/365 central point of contact, communication, and incident support for the technology and global infrastructure at ADP.In this role, you will supervise and direct the facility operations personnel and manage onsite vendors for a large critical data center. As part of the ADP GETS (Global Enterprise Technology) group, this position monitors performance of their assigned responsibilities to ensure the facility is run efficiently and well maintained.

It is also the manager’s responsibility to apprise the owner’s representative and/or senior site management, of all conditions affecting building operations. While supporting other groups on improving uptime, MTTR, resiliency, monitoring, visibility, and response time to exceptions for ADP's talent management, payroll, tax, time, and retirement services environments.You will interface effectively with the Hardware Implementation and Data Processing Operations teams to ensure proper coordination of all change activity and problem resolution within the data center environment. 24/7 availability is required. You will be responsible for the coordination & development of the facilities maintenance management system that will maintain the Data Center site classification, manage capacity, safety, efficiency, and ensure uptime requirements. You will interface directly with vendors to ensure successful completion of installations, preventative maintenance activities, follow proper escalation procedures when required, periodic testing of all critical equipment per manufacture specifications and related record keeping. You will interface with all local, state, and federal inspectors during inspections. You will interface directly with vendors for general building services such as janitorial, pest control, grounds maintenance, etc. You will work with onsite maintenance team and supply vendors to ensure sufficient supplies / spare parts are on site and available. You will maintain proper documentation and implement the policy & procedures to meet all audit requirements for internal and external audits.To succeed in this role:Must have 7+ years’ experience successfully managing a facilities team supporting a mission critical data center with uptime requirements in place.In depth knowledge of all aspects of critical building systems including but not limited to UPS systems, PDU / RPP, chiller systems, generator and switchgear operations. (configuration, monitoring, maintenance, etc.) and building construction is required to allow for accurate and timely problem diagnosis and resolution.Experience in managing a staff of critical facilities technicians with the training and knowledge to support day to day critical facilities operation in a data center environment.Ability to interact and collaborate with other department management in planning and implementing project essentials, as well as budgeting.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Have the ability to provide managed information while conducting onsite tours for potential and existing customers, as well as presenting to ADP Senior Leadership.Must be proficient in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, MS Outlook, etc.Must have extensive knowledge with critical facilities management software such as building automation and power monitoring systems.YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:Have courageous team collaboration.
