Research architectural software solutions that are either artistic or technical, to address issues when they arise. Apply expert knowledge of architecture software applications such as AutoCAD, Dynamo, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Grasshopper, BIM 360, Enscape, V-Ray, 3DSMax, Power Bi and Navisworks to develop architectural design processes and libraries for building design.

Responsible for researching, developing, documenting and delivering BIM methods and design solutions. Support development and compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope Plans. Execute and deliver repeatable analytics, data visualization, and spatial design solutions. Design and generate data visualizations as they relate to architecture and construction. Consult with project teams on design and delivery workflows utilizing multiple digital design technologies and platforms and responsible for Project Technology Execution Plan development, implementation, and support of tools, templates, and workflows for software used in space planning and architecture documentation.

Document studies to demonstrate the value of technology within the architecture and design practice to create a brand and ecosystem for Design Technology in the office and region. Responsible for the development, coordination, publication, and verification that all necessary configurations required for seamless integration of design and construction model information have been implemented. Transform smart-digital data-driven ideas into reality implemented on projects and research emerging technologies, develop new Design Technology workflows, and define use-cases for implementation on projects.

Plan and design architectural structures by performing client-facing information gathering, architectural space programming, change management strategy development, end-user research, production of client deliverables, and coordinating information with design colleagues through the schematic design phase.

Minimum RequirementsMust have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus two (2) years of design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) with all of the following:

Translating an architect's sketches to author guides for implementation and execution of the information for both architecture and engineering consultants to work collaboratively through software and document in 2D/3D models and images using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, parametric design software, 2D/3D software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Grasshopper, Miro, Illustrator, SketchUp, InDesign, 3ds MAX, Bluebeam Revue, and Rhino utilizing V-Ray and Enscape;

Utilizing site surveys, design sketches, and other inputs to prepare digital architectural models using Revit and/or CAD based on BIM development standards;

Producing high quality BIM models and defining workflows for renderings, plans, site plans, sections, elevations, and construction details for technology, life science, education, multi-family housing, financial, professional services, including law firms, entertainment, and transportation-oriented clients;

Developing all design stages of large-scale complex projects, including corporate financial service firms and landlord development companies, and experience in lounges, business office, base building development, High-Rise, and Interior Fit Out projects;

Developing the schematic design of the core and shell of a building, including the lobby, curtain wall system, parking, elevator banks, internal/exterior staircases, core, bathrooms, and terraces;

Delivering concept and schematic design package with a focus on the technical and 3D documentation for delivery, which includes site analysis, design concept, design narrative, sustainability simulation tests, floor plans, sections, elevations, and photo-realistic renderings;

Facilitating multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including 3D BIM design coordination with general contractor, structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), lighting, façade, audio/visual, acoustics, interiors, consultants, and working directly with other consultants and/or contractors;

3D Model Coordination between Architectural, MEP and Structural models, Common Data Environment management, and collaboration for real-time BIM iterations to the design solution through multiple milestones while undergoing interval Optimization and QA/QC efforts to maximize the delivery efficiency.

In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor’s degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship). Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor’s degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) must include experience with all of the following:
