If this describes you, we encourage you to apply today.Job Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management and at least 10 years of solid project management experience with contract values from $10-$100 million. You should also be familiar with estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing. Proven ability to manage multiple project types and complexities is crucial. Effective communication with superintendents, subcontractors, and owner/clients is necessary. Additionally, a minimum of six months of experience in both estimating/preconstruction and fieldwork is required.Some things you can expect to do:Develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential customers.Effectively negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts.Consistently achieve high levels of quality, design, and profitability on projects assigned to the team.Ensure the team's accounts receivables are managed effectively and collected promptly.Resolve the team's warranty issues promptly and effectively.Carry out general team administrative responsibilities promptly and accurately.Participate or lead owner/client presentations and negotiations.Oversee design development, budget preparation, and development of project schedules.Supervise a team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants, as required, depending on assigned project(s).Play a key role in developing procurement strategy including preparing bid documents, negotiating, and awarding subcontracts.Support and collaborate with others.Draw on self and interpersonal awareness to navigate people and situations.Pursue customer input and feedback and adapt accordingly.Maintain perseverance in the face of obstacles.Be persistent in working through tasks and following through on obligations.Set and track ambitious goals and strive for excellence.Think deeply and broadly to identify opportunities.Identify solutions and find a way forward when faced with new and unfamiliar situations.Think through problems and leverage relevant information to draw conclusions.Model a willingness to take risks and do things differently.Communicate thoughts and feelings in an authentic, genuine, and expressive manner.Make decisions and provide direction to and/or influence others.Provide coaching and support the development of individuals and teams to maximize performance and growth.Seek to understand the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.Recognize own biases and blind spots, making an effort to mitigate their impact.Incorporate others' diverse experiences, styles, backgrounds, and perspectives to get results.You will really stand out if you:Have a four-year college degree in construction management or construction engineering.Have a minimum of 10 years in solid project management with contract values from $10-$100 million.Have proven ability to manage teams successfully and profitably.Possess knowledge of Microsoft Project and Proliance.Have the ability to make effective and convincing formal sales presentations.Have advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing, and design management.Effectively delegate appropriate types and amounts of work to others to leverage personal effectiveness.Effectively prioritize and balance big picture and immediate responsibilities.Be proficient in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Be able to work independently, as well as with others in a collaborative environment and matrix organizational structure.Demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage time to effectively meet deadlines.Have attention to detail and quality with a strong focus on customer service and a good sense of urgency.Be able to concentrate on tasks, make decisions, and work effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.Maintain stamina throughout a standard workday, on- and off-site, and maintain regular attendance during required work hours.Commit to Ryan Values: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Stewardship, Family, Excellence, and Fun.Eligibility:Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Certain positions and locations require Covid-19 vaccination, subject to reasonable accommodations for valid medical or sincerely held religious reasons.Compensation:The base pay is $129,500.00 - $161,850.00. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
