About the role

This is a hybrid role and requires at least 3 days in our Atlanta office.

As part of the People Analytics team, you represent people analytics throughout AIG and to all levels of seniority. As a lead insights partner, your responsibilities include designing, leading and executing the end-to-end analyses in areas related to Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. You will collaborate closely with the Talent Management & Acquisition and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Centers of Excellence.

AIG seeks an experienced People Analytics lead who will serve as an analytics partner and expert for the entire HR team. Providing a consultative approach to solving some of the firm’s toughest people related challenges. Leading with data and driving outcomes through conversation.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Using fact-based solutions and data analysis, proactively advise our colleagues throughout the Talent team to influence decision making.Employ consulting skills and business acumen to advise business leaders on opportunities to drive global people decisions.Manipulate and analyze large internal and external data sets to distill insights, and connect disparate ideas into cohesive messaging.Partner with the other Centers of Excellence with HR (e.g., Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition), provide analytical expertise in measuring the effectiveness of HR programs.Provide leadership, guidance, training and subject matter expertise to other members of the People Analytics team to increase the ability of asking appropriate questions, selecting the right metrics, interpreting the data and translating data into actionable insights.Transform large amounts of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and business decision-making, using data visualization tools.Ensure that the information is presented in a visually clear, concise, and business-relevant manner to senior leadership level stakeholders.Create thought-provoking and professional reports and models using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or other analytics solutions as appropriate.Partner with the broader People Analytics team to ensure that recommendations for enhancements to reporting platforms are communicated and considered.Ensure confidentiality of data by following established security/confidentiality standards.Foster a data-driven culture within HR by educating and training clients on self-service reporting tools, how to interpret data, and providing concise deliverables.Coordinate with other members of the People Analytics team to increase awareness regarding posing appropriate questions, selecting the right metrics, interpreting the data and translating data into actionable insights for international regions and businesses.Interpret and provide recommendations based on data to help support talent and business decisions.

Job Requirements:4+ years’ work experience conducting quantitative people analyses.Bachelor’s degree; degree in business, economics, psychology, or statistics preferred.Advanced degree in business, human resources management, data analytics, statistics, or closely related fields preferred.Advanced knowledge of and familiarity with data structures in HRIS systems; Knowledge of Workday reporting and data model preferred.Must have outstanding problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to clearly define problems, collect data from primary and secondary sources, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and influence others to implement recommendations.Must be a critical and curious thinker who can think outside of the box, not take information at face value, and employ creative solutions to use and interpret data.Advanced knowledge of HR metrics/KPIs, their formulas, and how to source data from various HR systems to create them.Proficiency in creating advanced reports for senior levels of an organization with solid proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and ad hoc analyses using desktop visualization tools.Microsoft Excel skills, to include advanced knowledge of all facets of the application as well as some knowledge of VBA coding preferred.Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization and deliver information to leaders and managers.Must show strong drive, initiative and ownership in all aspects of their work.Must be a self-starter and independent worker, capable of meeting expectations with minimal oversight.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Proficient organization and time management; meticulous attention to detail; process-oriented.Ability to work independently as well as on a team and comfortable working with a remote team.
