The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Group Account Executive is directly responsible for generating group sales revenue on a year-round basis. This role will be accountable for a dynamic and proactive approach to group sales including outbound calls and face-to-face meetings. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to prospect and build a book of business in the local area consisting of businesses, youth soccer clubs, non-profits, and other organizations.

Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly group ticket and revenue targets.

Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face-to-face meetings, arena tours, prospecting, and networking.

Develop relationships, set face-to-face meetings (both externally and at Red Bull Arena) and present group ticket options to potential customers with the objective to close new and renewal group sales business.

Assist in creation of new group initiatives and events that increase sales opportunities and overall group tickets/revenue.

Provide a positive customer experience by building long-lasting relationships, providing service and exceeding group leader/fan expectations.

Qualifications8+ years of ticket sales experience preferably in the sports industry

Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals

Strong knowledge of the New York/New Jersey youth soccer landscape is a plus

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Committed to success and the sports industry with a desire to aggressively compete within a team environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Comfort and experience working with various levels of staff and management

Work varying schedules, including all Red Bulls home matches, some nights & weekends
