Cooley Law School seeks an Associate Director of Admissions to serve in a central role at our Lansing Campus.The successful candidate manages the daily operation of the admissions office and carries out its functions. Responsibilities include:RecruitmentApplication and admission processAssisting prospects, applicants, students, staff, and facultyProviding daily oversight of the financial aid office including advising and processingWorking with the Graduate Program regarding federal student aidQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university, or three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred with two to four years of experience. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position; experience in a law school is desired.Proficiency with the following software is required:Law School Admissions Council (Unite)Financial aid (PowerFAIDS)Student information database (CAMS, Jenzabar)Web conference/videoconference (WebEx, Zoom)Microsoft Office SuiteGoogle SuiteStrong service ethic and team builder. Customer service focus. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask; excellent organization and time-management skills; ability to handle and maintain confidential information; strong collaboration skills; and ability to interact positively with individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds. Evening and weekend hours required.
