Group Summary
As the Senior Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role in our Transplant Diagnostics Division, leading the finance function and driving strategic financial planning and analysis based in Los Angeles, CA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior executives, to determine financial goals and implement initiatives that impact division success. This is a high-visibility position where you can make a meaningful difference and drive the financial success of our division.
What You Will Do
Lead the finance function for the Transplant Diagnostics Division, ensuring detailed execution of financial processes and controls.
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support divisional goals and objectives.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business performance.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies and optimize profitability.
Lead and analyze financial data on a regular basis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Participate and lead where appropriate finance efforts related to new business opportunities, including but not limited to partnerships and M&A activities.
Lead and develop a finance team that consistently demonstrates strong work behaviors, fostering a culture of teamwork, growth, and continuous improvement.
How You Get Here
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Equivalent experience in the industry will also be considered. MBA or CPA qualification is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within the life sciences industry.
Strong expertise in financial analysis and effective planning abilities.
Background of leading diverse global financial consolidations in an accurate and timely manner.
Experience with SAP, Oracle HFM and Microsoft Office tools is highly preferred.
Outstanding understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze financial data to provide practical suggestions for improvement.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence individuals at all levels.
Experience efficiently implementing financial systems and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Proven track record to set and achieve financial goals, while maintaining a proactive and driven approach.
Track record of success in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, adept at effectively juggling and addressing different tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $235,000.00–$280,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
