Associate Director Market Access

for a prescription medicine will work closely with agency partners, internal brand colleagues, promotions, internal communications, pricing, policy, legal, health economics outcomes research, and Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement teams to develop strategies to support current indications and launch future indications. This role will report to the Director, Oncology Market Access.

The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting tactical execution and development of brand and market access strategy in collaboration with internal functions (Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement, Marketing, Integrated Account Management Teams, Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence (CORE), Medical Affairs, HHDDA, etc.), focusing on customer segments including health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, federal, pharmacy, hospital and Group Purchasing Organizations, among others.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork closely with our Company's internal functions (promotions, communications, medical affairs, brand marketing, data and analytics teams, etc.) and external agency partners to develop customer-specific strategies and execute as appropriate to achieve access for patients and achieve business growth.Develop comprehensive payer/market access strategies in alignment with the brand strategy and execute across relevant Company teams.Input into the development and execution of payer value propositions, channel-specific materials, and branded promotional initiatives.Main point responsible and accountable for resource support, ongoing planning around messaging, and communications for field-facing teams at our Company (e.g. IAM, Key Accounts, etc.).Work with IAM and HHDDA data and analytics team to conduct analysis across multiple data sources and build out dashboards and visualizations.Support brand team and provide market access point of view during L3, QBR process and across various patient support initiatives.Provide input from US perspective into Global Access Teams, new product planning teams, Health Economics and Outcomes Research and business development opportunities as they emerge.Work cross-functionally within our Company, including Organized Customer Access and Reimbursement, Market Research, policy team, Global Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, compliance, legal, pricing and others to build a value proposition for collaboration oncology medicines that allow for access and reimbursement that is consistent with label.Education Minimum RequirementsRequired: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)Preferred: Master's degree (MBA)Required Experience and SkillsMinimum of (5) years combined experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Customer Management, Managed Care or Sales.Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills.Proactive nature and ability to manage change, anticipate risks, and design controls or mitigation.Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal).Proficient at leading across diverse department and roles and effectively engaging senior management.Strong judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with understanding of broader context of corporate strategies.Comfort and confidence in working with diverse teams and backgrounds; routinely demonstrates inclusive behaviors; actively seeks out diverse perspectives and experiences.Demonstrated understanding of healthcare trends and policy issues around both pharmacy and medical benefits and their potential impact upon the company's business opportunities.25% TravelPreferred Experience and SkillsAssociate Director level of Marketing or Managed Care/Payer Marketing experience.Experience in Oncology/Oncology Payer/Buy-and-bill and/or oral therapy reimbursement.Knowledge of health system.Digital promotion experience.
