Night, 3X12

Job Description –Facility: Eastern Idaho RegionalNeed: RNShift: 7:00PM – 7:00AM with rotating weekends

Unit: PICU

Patient Ratios:

1:2 (sometimes 3 if they are step down patients or Peds patients)

Unit staffing description:

RNs only – no CNAs or Unit Secretary

Type of equipment:

Ventilators, central lines, art lines, alaris pumps

Documentation system:

Meditech

Scheduling requirements:

schedule 1 month at a time

Floating policy:

will float to other units if PICU is low census

Weekend Requirement:

50% weekends depending on needs

Patient Experience requirements:

looking for previous PICU experience, trauma & burn preferred

Hospital Specifics:

Certifications:

PALS, BLS

Requested Skill Set:

Must have:

Advanced skills needed:

experience with ventilators, high flow, chest tubes, IV placement, experience with central lines, urinary catheter placement, NG placement, trach care

Procedures performed on unit:

sedation, set up for ART lines, chest tubes

Certifications Required:

PALS, BLS

Dress Code:

Required uniform: Navy blue scrubs, can wear a pediatric friendly top
