Handles the day-to-day management of Eversource facilitiesOversees the development and administration of the emergency, evacuation and safety plans for all buildingsDevelops and administers the O&M and capital budgetsManages and coordinates the general requirements of facility space including environmental and regulatory requirementsOversees the administration and management of the Eversource Facilities’ Preventive Maintenance Management System (PMMS)Assures compliance with all environmental permits associated with facilities’ work and administers the maintenance of the Environmental Permit BooksPartners with Real Estate on rental renovations, recoverable costs per square foot and all assignments where facilities are involvedDevelops contracts with vendors, participates in Purchasing negotiations and is the contract administrator for all major contractor work related to Eversource buildings - cafeterias, HVAC, snow removal, grounds care, etcWorks with others to assure compliance on all safety, environmental and security matters involving Eversource facilitiesOversees contractor safety performanceAssesses benchmarking data and determines proper use of the data to develop the Eversource Facilities’ organizationHandles labor relations issues as necessaryRecommends and oversees the training programs for Facilities’ staff to develop and enhance job skills and to ensure federal and state law complianceDevelops and manages the Facilities’ Environmental Management SystemAdministers the Departmental Safety Program and oversees the investigations of personal injury, equipment failures and incidents including vehicle and property damage incurred in connection with Facilities activitiesResponding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s roleIf employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignmentThis means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and locationCompany informationEversource Energy (NYSE:ES), a Fortune 500 and Standard & Poor’s 500 energy company based in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, operates New England’s largest energy delivery system.
