Learn from the best and accelerate your career with Vi.What We Offer:Competitive payExceptional benefitsGenerous Paid Time Off - start accruing on day one401k with company matchPaid maternity and paternity benefitsAward-winning training and developmentTuition ReimbursementLuxury work environmentMeaningful and rewarding workVi at The Glen is located at 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview, IL 60026.ResponsibilitiesAssists the Director of Resident Services with oversight of Concierge, Valet and Resident Services Specialist staff; ensures completion of staff assignments.Works closely and in collaboration with the Security Supervisor to ensure and adhere to the community's safety and security standards.Assists Director of Resident Services with interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, disciplining and terminating employees.Assists the Director of Resident Services with new resident orientation as assigned.Sets a positive example for team members and reports any problems to the Director of Resident Services. Follows and enforces policies and procedures.Arranges coverage for Concierge and Valet as needed. When necessary, provides coverage for Concierge and Valet by performing the position's job duties.Provides excellent service to residents, family members, guests, vendors, and other employees.Manages emergency situations based on the Company's safety and disaster policies.Reports any signs of resident abuse or neglect or any significant change in resident condition immediately to the Director of Resident Services, Manager on Duty and/or Executive Director.Complies with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines and standards.May perform CPR and render First Aid in emergency situations. Identifies and reports deviations from safe practice.Attends scheduled staff meetings, in-services, and seminars as required.Assists with conducting fire drills in accordance with community and departmental policy and procedures.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. College Degree in related field (Hospitality, Business or Social Work/Services) is preferred.Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a high quality hotel, country club or senior living company is required. Previous supervisory experience is required.Licensure / Certification: Must possess a valid and current driver's license, where applicable. Current American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certified. External Defibrillator (AED) certification is preferred. OSHA, FEMA and other certifications (e.g. International Foundation for Protection Officers) is preferred.Pay RangeUSD $27.44 - USD $34.30 /Hr.
