The role of the

Client Services Intern

for

Summer 2025

works to ensure a positive experience for the client by developing and managing our deliverables. As an intern in this role, you will perform actions and shadow other consultants on a daily basis to ensure the daily operations of the project plan for each client, troubleshoot and resolve controls issues associated with HVAC equipment, and assist the primary point of contact for the client. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of the performance guarantee, along with resolving various issues and tackling project assignments both in the field and office.

This position will be a rotational program internship, giving an opportunity to work in Client Services and in one or more of the specified areas below:Energy EngineeringMechanical & Electrical EngineeringBuilding Automation & Controls Engineering

Position responsibilities:

Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of deliverablesResponsible for installing hardware/software additions, change orders, and solutionsResponsible for verifying the performance and sustained operation of Energy Conservation MeasuresResponsible for assisting clients in issue resolutionResponsible for understanding the clients BAS and able to supportPerform site service when called uponPerform project turnovers from construction to Client ServicesPerform Field Audit data collection associated with Capital Asset PlanningPerform site work and shadowing of project team membersRepresentation of Client Services during client training and turnoversResponsible for task management creation and execution through Asana process flowsResponsible for identifying operational improvements for improved savings performancePeriodically evaluate performance of systems for improvement opportunities

Essential skills and qualifications:

Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree preferredUnderstanding of and proficiency in project management skillsExcellent time management and organization skillsProficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointProficient using task management programs or knowledge with AsanaExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven track record of providing excellent customer serviceEffective working in a team environment

While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. During periods of project site visits, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms which could consist of confined spaces and loud noises. Employee may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job will require approximately

40-60% travel to project sites . Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.
