We are currently seeking a highly skilled

Supplier Development Engineer

to join our team at Gal Aerostaff, a leading company in the Aerospace and Defense industry. As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with suppliers to develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any issues.Conduct regular supplier audits to assess their capabilities, performance, and adherence to quality standards.Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and work closely with suppliers to implement corrective actions.Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide feedback to management on supplier quality and delivery performance.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supplier development strategies.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supplier development and incorporate them into our processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Proven experience as a Supplier Development Engineer or in a similar role within the Aerospace and Defense industry.Strong knowledge of supplier management principles and practices.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.Proficient in using supplier management software and tools.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.12+ Months
