Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Proximity Manager:Lead a team of proximity agents with a direct hands-on approach, providing motivation and coaching to help the team reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals.Recruit, hire, and train proximity agents through cost-effective recruiting tools, including partnering with temporary agencies when appropriate.Oversee all proximity marketing field activities, including training, role playing, daily meetings, field supervision, and motivating team members.Create and develop the culture of the local proximity team through personal role modeling of desired behaviors and techniques.Monitor and coach every team member to ensure they are following proper procedures, scripts, and customer service guidelines.In partnership with the Marketing leadership team & Regional Canvass Manager, budget with the sole purpose of generating qualified leads and appointments through proximity efforts.Perform administrative tasks including: coordinating proximity logistics with mapping and tracking, permit logistics, script and flyer maintenance, organizing field lead sheets, and verifying/validating leads gathered during each shift.Provide timely tracking and entry of marketing data into the corporate database.Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person on neighborhoods and cities where our products and services can be demonstrated with the intent of generating qualified leads and appointments.Secondary DutiesCoordinate with the Regional Canvass Manager to assist with local implementation and tracking of other corporate marketing initiatives.Perform other related duties as assigned.Execute projects based on business need as assigned.Establish positive community relations through involvement in community organizations.Additional RequirementsRequires weekend work.Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to self-manage resources (time and budget) to achieve objectives.Ability to analyze the effectiveness of the proximity program and proximity team.Ability to understand the role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising.Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.Demonstrated analytic skills.Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
