Office Specialist II

position within the Licensing section of Teaching and Learning. As an Office Specialist II at USBE, you will provide office support for staff and educational programs that directly impact the students of this great state.

Principal DutiesAs an Office Specialist II at USBE, you may perform some or all of the following duties:Provide assistance and general licensing information for on-site visitors, phone and email contactsAssist with websites and application system navigation.Provide administrative support to specialists, coordinators and other staff.Process background checks and administer fingerprint scanning.Maintain files and databases and process electronic applications.Prepare and/or process documents.Write or draft correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials.Perform general accounting duties.Maintain calendars, plan and assist with events, conferences, etc.Other duties as assigned.

Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for an Office Specialist has:An energetic personality.The ability and willingness to adapt to new technologies and takes initiative.Exceptional office support skills.Skills using various computer applications and databases.Experience providing administrative support to staff.The ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders.
