We are seeking a motivated Senior Risk Manager to join our ever-expanding Project, Program, Commercial and Construction Management (PPCM) practice where you’ll work alongside purpose driven, high-performing professionals and entrepreneurs across sectors in the NASA region.ResponsibilitiesYour role will also work closely with Project teams to support the delivery of projects as the go-to technical Risk Manager. Your responsibilities also expand in areas such as:Leads project team in delivery of risk management for large projects/programmes in the development, implementation and quality assurance of bespoke risk management methods, techniques and tools, risk policies, Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS), and the Risk Management Plan (RMP).Understands and applies relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines pertaining to risk management including ISO 31000.Interfaces with clients, project managers and design managers to achieve risk identification and control integration with the wider project teams.Provides Multi industry/domain experience when directing the coordination of risk management principles with associated Project Management/ Project Controls disciplines.Conducts both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment to support informed and evidence-based decision-making.Provides complex risk analytics for projects, portfolios and programmes.Advises and guides clients and colleagues through risk management and mitigation principles and apply these to achieve solutions.Supports in creating, developing, and embedding technical excellence across the PPCM practice.Directs the development of the MM risk management capability.Supports business development for risk management opportunities.Contributes to the development of Risk Management profession through industry presentations, contributing articles to relevant journals and establishing relationships with industry bodies.Candidate SpecificationWhat You Will Bring To The TeamRelevant tertiary qualifications, for example Engineering or Science qualifications or related discipline.Highly experienced in providing Board level risk intelligence and supports risk-based decisions with bespoke analytics.Knowledge and use of risk analysis software such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA), Safran, Active Risk Manager (ARM), or similar highly preferred.Familiarity with ISO Risk 31000 highly preferred.PMI-RMP or RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional certification must be obtained within 6 months to 1 year of starting the role.Experience with management of quality and risk objectives are key.A commitment to client centricity, enabling positive, collaborative, respectful and inclusive team environments.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.Mentor junior members of staff and upskill them as future leaders.Salary Range for NYC: $120,000 - $135,000
