Alexander Rose is partnered with a reputable general contractor specializing in private, commercial, and several Highway and Bridge construction projects across the city of Atlanta. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager local to Atlanta to join the team, with previous local experience working within the Transportation market.The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, submission, and management of Heavy/Highway and Railroad bridge and culvert projects.Essential Functions:Communicates with Project Owners and Engineers as a team to identify and solve problems that arise.Reviews proposals, quotes, and assesses each quote from subcontractors and suppliers.Prior experience with material planning to effectively prepare, submit, and track project submittals/quantities.Tracks and monitors project costs, submits, and certifications.Attends and actively participates in pre-bid, pre-construction, and project coordination meetings.Force Account processing knowledge.Experience in Purchase Order initiation and completion of job billings and invoicing.Understanding of job setup in databases (Viewpoint-VISTA experience preferred but not required).
Maintain EEO Compliance.Profound organizational skills in maintaining records, distributing minutes, scheduling meetings, and other related documentation.Problem-solving skills within the organization and projects.Performs other duties and tasks as required.Occasional travel is required.Minimum Requirements:2 years of experience or education focusing on project management and/or operations.Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and other construction software.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.Ability to understand and interpret project plans and specifications.Ability to move or transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Essential to perform tasks in a construction environment and adhere to all safety requirements.Construction experience is strongly preferred.Salary will be determined based on experience.INDAR
